Ooooh — I really like that ku, Wrick. Not only the synesthesia of color/sound but the red associated with the word “crash” which makes you think, possibly, of blood — and just the word “crash” associated with fallen leaves which are usually depicted as floating or drifting or something — but having them crash, and maybe bleed, somehow gets at the pain and mutilation that all those stripped-bare trees evoke. Nice work. 🙂
lovely juxtaposition and play on words
Thanks, Juliet. 🙂
oh, yeah – i like the sense you get at in this that color has sound!
a crash
of fallen leaves
