NaHaiWriMo prompt for April 1st:
Tricks and deception
__________________________
See this post for an explanation of what this is.
See the NaHaiWriMo website.
See the NaHaiWriMo Facebook page, and contribute haiku there if you want. (It doesn’t have to have anything to do with this prompt. It’s just a suggestion.)
See Dick run … no, wait.
If you don’t have a Facebook account or don’t want to post haiku there, feel free to post them in my comments.
Or just write them down somewhere and keep them a secret.
Or don’t write anything at all. Whatever works for you.
I’ll be back tomorrow, same time, same place, with another suggestion.

quiet. i havnt written this yet. i’ve only photographed it. so it may be decades before it is written. …i mean imaged. with words.
Love this one, Wrick. Secrets, the moon, leaves, and concrete … what’s not to love?
Good plan, Melissa. I will try to keep some haiku rolling.

Like it, Sully. Though just to clarify (and maybe you understood this already and just wanted to use the phrase) — you don’t actually need to use the words in the prompt in your haiku, it’s just a concept to play with.
Yes, but somehow I locked onto tricks and deception and I liked the way it worked. A concept to play with is good.

Oh, no worries, Sully, I just wanted to make sure you didn’t feel unnecessarily limited by the structure of the prompt …
