the taste of rosemary

Moving on: NaHaiWriMo prompt for April 9th

See this post for an explanation of what this is.

See the NaHaiWriMo website.

See the NaHaiWriMo Facebook page, and contribute haiku there if you want. (It doesn’t have to have anything to do with this prompt. It’s just a suggestion.)

  1. cool. in the rain the other day on a walk i realized an entire hedge was made of rosemary because of the scent as i walked passed. it’s always kept very trimmed in a box-like shape – not high may be two feet or 30 inches and not long – may be 6 or 7 feet long and probably 20 inches – 2 feet wide. it’s curved. it follows the sidewalk and then curves in along a short driveway. i’ve walked along there plenty of times (including other days in the rain) and had not noticed that it was rosemary until that particular day in the rain. there are a number of rosemary bushes that have been planted around mail box posts but that was the first hedge i’ve noticed.

    warm rain
