NaHaiWriMo prompt: Really small things

… And that’s all, folks! It’s been a pleasure playing with you.

For those of you who just can’t get enough of these daily prompts, rest assured that the fun will continue in May (though not here), with the marvelous Cara Holman as prompter. Enjoy!

.

See this post for an explanation of what this is.

See the NaHaiWriMo website.

See the NaHaiWriMo Facebook page, and contribute haiku there if you want. (It doesn’t have to have anything to do with this prompt. It’s just a suggestion.)

  1. brush in hand
    the whiskey painter
    begins with a sip

i have to confess of all your prompts this one has proved the most difficult for me. i’ve written several. and discarded them. or put them in a bin to be worked on…

may be the one above should follow that path too but i couldnt resist leaving it here. …the Whiskey Painters (of America) – WPA – paint small works. …just in case you didnt know. …altho… not Really Small. …

(just in case you were wondering. or curious).

i’ve enjoyed your prompts (thank you for posting them here) and i think i’d do okay on this one if i didnt keep getting here when i’m too tired to think small. i mean straight.

    one last attempt…

nah. i didnt like that one either…

    oh. wait. may be. this:

    the first star
    a sky full of light
    at dusk

there. okay. i’m accepting this one. for now. as a Really Small Thing.

    fun. aloha

    • Well no wonder you’re having trouble if you’re sitting around drinking whiskey. πŸ™‚

I’m very impressed at how quickly you caught up with all those prompts. I just barely struggled to the finish line myself. I’ve been sitting around catching my breath all week.

  2. hahahaha – it’s a different time frame you know. you did yours one a day. i assembly lined mine. …not quite the same thing.

no. i’m not a whiskey painter. they are full up. …not surprising. i’ve tried some coffee and tea things… however. not quite the same thing either. …may be i should just practice.

i like your chances of making it to the end of the term.

    breathe Allen. breathe.
