I felt like I got right behind the camera here, Melissa, I like it
Thanks, Ash!
I can really identify with this. Whether it’s a photo or a poem, what do you leave out? Did you write it in English first or German?
I wrote it in English and it was translated into German by Dietmar Tauchner and/or some other editorial staff member at “Chrysanthemum” (a wonderful bilingual publication). I know only a small amount of German, unfortunately.
Sehr gut!
Danke, Mary! 🙂
So much of life passes us by… so much of what we had dreamed remains dream and we never get to see the full picture. Still, what we do see sometimes stuns us with it’s vitality and beauty. The 4 x 6 photo opens our minds to all that we’ve missed. Thanks, Melissa for this one.
Every year when the blossoms come it feels like no matter how much I appreciate their beauty I am somehow apprehending only a tiny part of it…
